Music Ace

NETWORK EDITION

Music Ace is designed to provide beginning music students, young and old, with an engaging introduction to music fundamentals and theory. Following the friendly direction of Maestro Max and his choir of Singing Notes, students can participate in 24 comprehensive lessons, play a variety of challenging games, and easily compose and listen to their own music on the innovative Music Doodle Pad.

The school network edition (LAN) of Music Ace makes it easy to organize up to 3600 users at a single site into a maximum of 60 groups. Within each group, educators can track the progress and game scores of up to 60 users. When used in a secure network environment, Music Ace can be configured to grant the appropriate access privileges for both users and administrators.

LESSONS
24 engaging, self-paced lessons develop and reinforce fundamental music skills and an understanding of music theory. Lessons cover:

  • Staff and keyboard relationship
  • Pitch identification
  • Note reading
  • Listening skills
  • Sharps, flats and key signatures
  • Keyboard basics
  • Major scales and octaves
  • Treble, bass and grand staff
  • Much more

GAMES
One exciting game per lesson. Games sharpen music skills and improve retention of important lesson concepts. Colorful animated graphics, digitized sound effects, bonus points and high scores provide fun, arcade-like entertainment.

MUSIC DOODLE PAD
Unique feature allows students to easily compose their own music using a variety of instrument sounds, or listen to and modify popular music selections from the Jukebox. The creative compositions can then be saved and played back for others.

INDIVIDUAL STUDENT PROGRESS
Allows educators to track each student's progress through lessons and games; includes a "completion count" for each student and "games progress" for high scores. Progress sheets can be printed for each user.

GROUP PROGRESS
Feature unique to network edition enables educators to define and arrange up to 60 groups to track the progress of a maximum of 60 students per group. Students' high game scores are compared within each group and progress sheets can be printed as a group.

ACCESS PRIVILEGES
Security feature works with school's pre-determined network password access and login. Allows each student access to their own private Music Ace file. Provides educators special access to all student files and capability to add and delete user files.
